Because of construction in the bunker classrooms at the Northeastern University Marine Science Center in Nahant, some of the lectures in the 2013-2014 Tuesday Night Lecture Series and its Academic Colloquium Series (which is geared to a more academic audience) have been moved. The Tuesday, Nov. 19, 4 p.m., Academic Colloquium Series presentation by Jay Stachowicz of the University of California Davis, on the effects of biodiversity on the structure and function of marine ecosystems, will be held at the Nahant Village Church, 27 Cliff St., as will several of the Tuesday Night Lecture Series programs. However, the November presentation in that series, “Live From Under the Sea: Mission 31,” will be held in Boston at the Northeastern University Alumni Center, 716 Columbus Ave., sixth floor, on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m. While the public is welcome and no registration is required for most presentations, registration is recommended for the Boston presentation, at www.tiny.cc/mission31.
