Special Town Meeting approves 11 of 12 articles

In about one hour, 20 minutes, a turnout of 152 residents voted to support 11 of 12 articles on the warrant at Salisbury’s Oct. 28 Special Town Meeting. Meeting attendees adopted a tax work-off program for veterans, approved $197,000 for a schematic design for a new police station, approved a temporary moratorium on medical marijuana facilities, and adopted a local meals excise tax.
