The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce has scheduled its annual Mardi Gras party for 6:30 p.m. March 1 at Montvale Plaza, 54 Montvale Ave. Hosted by Salem Five Bank, the event will feature Cajun-style dinner fare and the atmosphere of Bourbon Street, with live music performed by The Workingman’s Jazz Band, dancing, entertainment, and prizes. A portion of the evening’s proceeds will benefit the Stoneham Substance Abuse Coalition, which strives to address drug and alcohol abuse in the community. Tickets are $65 per person or $600 for a table of 10. The admission price includes a free ticket for the Big Easy door prize drawing, which features prizes from chamber members such as Red Sox, Bruins, and Celtics tickets; gift baskets; restaurant certificates; and many other items. To learn more or make reservations, visit or call the chamber office at 781-438-0001.
