Nick Cross , Beverly: With the Panthers trailing by 20 points after two quarters, the senior forward scored 23 of his game-high 26 points in the second half to complete a 62-56 comeback victory over Salem on Tuesday.

Deidra Newson , Lynn English: With the senior captain supplying a team-high 18 points, the unbeaten Bulldogs toppled Peabody 54-37 to capture their third consecutive Northeastern Conference championship.

Oscar Reynoso , Greater Lawrence: Powering the Reggies to their seventh consecutive victory, the senior forward posted 20 points (six 3-pointers), eight rebounds, and six assists in a 64-35 win over Minuteman.

Norma Waggett , Saugus: Accounting for more than half of his team’s output, the senior guard poured in 30 points in a 54-43 win over Triton Regional. She netted her 1,000th point in a loss to Ipswich on Jan. 29.
