The town is seeking two volunteers for the Industrial and Commercial Design Review Committee, an advisory board that reviews plans for new commercial and industrial development, along with exterior and site changes to existing buildings, and reports to the Board of Appeals. The purpose of the board, according to a press release, is to “promote harmony in architectural, landscape, and sign treatment and design, and to avoid arrangement of buildings detrimental to the property values of adjoining owners and the community.” The committee, appointed by the Board of Selectmen, is seeking both a full and alternate member. Interested candidates should submit a short resume and letter of interest to Kosta Prentakis, chairman of the Board of Selectmen, 48 South Main St., Middleton, MA 01949, or e-mail adminsecretary@townofmiddleton.org.
