City interested in purchasing Girl Scout camp

The city has expressed interest in purchasing Camp Paradise, the 12-acre camp at the corner of Cole and Foster streets that was listed for sale for $1.4 million last summer by the Girl Scouts of Massachusetts. Doig said the property would be ideal for student nature trips and could serve the four city-run summer day camps that now operate at Lynch Park.
