City seeks comments on plans to light field

Somerville is seeking community input about a proposal to install new lighting at the Michael E. Capuano Early Childhood Center turf soccer field this fall. Mayor Joseph Curtatone and Ward 1 Alderman Matt McLaughlin will host a meeting with residents on Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the center, located at 150 Glen St. For more information, contact Arn Franzen in the mayor’s Office of Strategic Planning and Community Development at 617-625-6600, ext. 2545, or by e-mail at AFranzen@somervillema.gov.
