The Rotary Club of Burlington is holding its annual Friday Night at the Fights fund-raiser on March 21 at the Billerica Lodge of Elks. The event will feature 10 three-round amateur boxing matches involving boxers from the Lowell area. Tickets are $80 to the fund-raiser, which will also include a six-course, family-style dinner, door prizes, free T-shirts, and a raffle. The event, the club’s largest fund-raiser of the year, will benefit its charitable activities. The club awards annual scholarships to graduating high school students from Burlington, and provides financial and volunteer support for the Burlington Community Food Pantry. Its other community work includes sponsoring an Interact Club at the high school, in which students engage in civic work; organizing an annual Valentine’s Day dance for senior citizens; and providing a free dictionary to each third-grade student in the public schools. It also purchases books for a World Peace and Understanding bookcase at the high school library, and supports the Burlington Pride Special Olympics softball and basketball teams. To purchase a ticket, call 781-221-0111 or 781-858-5927, or go to
