College application information sessions set

Area residents can learn more about applying to North Shore Community College at a series of information sessions the college is holding on its Lynn and Danvers campuses. At the events, which are being offered through March 18, participants will hear about the college’s admission process and its associate degrees and certificates, as well as how to transfer credits to and from the college, placement testing, how to register for class, and how to apply for financial aid. The sessions are intended for high school juniors and seniors, transfer students, adult learners, and career changers. Those who are ready to apply for the spring or fall are asked to bring proof that they have graduated from high school and any college transcripts. The remaining Lynn sessions are Wednesday at 5 p.m.; March 11 at 4 p.m., March 13 at 10 a.m., and March 18 at 10 a.m. in the west wing of the McGee building.
