Recycling and trash guide now available

A recycling/trash guide for residents is now available. Among the changes included in this year’s eight-page guide: milk and juice cartons are now accepted in recycling; the Board of Health has introduced a new sharps collection program; and the Recycling Committee has published a new “Recyclopedia,” an A-Z guide for reuse and recycling. Plastic bags are not allowed in the curbside recycling because they contaminate the recycling stream, and to avoid contamination, recyclable items in plastic bags will no longer be collected. To view the recycling guide online, visit andoverma.gov/publish/recbrochure.pdf. For more information, call 978-623-8350, option 1.
