The Ipswich Senior Center is forming a basketball program for players age 50 and over. The program will run every Thursday from 4 to 5 p.m. at the gym in Town Hall, on Green Street, beginning Thursday. For more information, contact Sheila Taylor, director of the Ipswich Council on Aging, at 978-356-6650. Interest from participants will determine what shape the program takes, according to Taylor, who said the time could be used for pickup games, or could become more organized.
