Donate your old Halloween costumes to From the Pumpkin Patch , a collection and giveaway program. Costumes can be donated at Title Boxing Club in Danvers and Saugus; EMARC in Reading; Kidz Enterprise Toys in Tyngsborough; Dance Track Studio in Wakefield; and Markel Reality Group in Westford. College applications stressing you out? High school students and parents are invited to “School Daze: Navigating the College Entrance Experience” at the Swampscott Public Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8. Swampscott High School guidance counselor Julie Mazzola will give an overview on what to expect during the application process while Joanna Ganci, chairwoman of the English department, will give advice on essay writing and teacher recommendations. Colleen Woods, associate director of financial aid at Emerson College, will talk about the application process and Sherry Brass, the director of precollege programs at Kaplan Test Prep, will discuss the new PSAT and SAT.
