Steve Mongeau, a Chelmsford resident and executive director of Samaritans, Inc., is featured in the film “Samaritans: You are Not Alone,” a documentary that focuses on the lifesaving suicide prevention work by the Boston-based group. The film’s premiere screening is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at Suffolk University’s C. Walsh Theater. Tickets are $7.50. The trailer may be viewed at samaritanshope.org/documentary. The film’s debut coincides with the start of texting support for those seeking help with issues related to suicide. “Teens and college students much prefer texting to talking on the phone, especially if they’re in a public place,” Mongeau said. Texting is available to 877-870-HOPE (4673).
