    Middleton administrator gets high marks

After a performance evaluation review, the Middleton Board of Selectmen unanimously extended the contract of Town Administrator Andrew Sheehan for three more years. The new contract will run until June 30, 2020. In making the announcement, Brian Cresta, selectman chairman, said Sheehan has been “well received and visible and active within the town.” Cresta praised Sheehan’s “open door policy for residents and department heads” and said the board thinks the town is “moving in the right direction” under Sheehan’s administration. Sheehan was hired in December 2016 to replace Ira Singer, who retired after holding the position for 34 years.
