The Pentucket Regional School District — which serves Groveland, West Newbury, and Merrimac — is inviting parents, staff, students, and community members to participate in a three-day interactive planning workshop for its high school. Jason Boone, educational consultant with school designer Dore & Whittier, will conduct the three-day workshop on Nov. 8, Nov. 15, and Dec. 13, with each session at the high school cafeteria from 4 until 8 p.m. The district was accepted into the Massachusetts School Building Authority’s school building assistance program in 2016, and is seeking to address educational and facility deficits of the current high school building. The school’s condition “impedes our educational programming, and its systems are in imminent danger of possible failure,” Superintendent Jeff Mulqueen said in a release. Those interested may register by e-mailing Mulqueen at firstname.lastname@example.org by Oct. 27, with the words “Planning Workshop” in the subject line. It is preferred that participants attend each session.David Rattigan can be reached at email@example.com.
