Winter isn’t here quite yet, but Haverhill’s overnight winter parking ban already has begun. All cars and trucks left on public streets between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. must be parked on the even side of the road. Overnight parking moves to the odd side of the street in January. Violators are subject to a $25 fine and towing of the vehicle. If a snow emergency is declared by the city, parking is banned on both sides on some downtown streets.
