Beverly to hold forum on waterfront development

Beverly is seeking community input into a new harbor and waterfront plan at a public meeting scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. March 22 in Beverly High School. The plan is part of an ongoing effort to examine how the Beverly Harbor the Bass River areas should be developed. The city’s goals are to promote water-dependent development while allowing for mixed uses, as well as to improve public access and respect the character of the surrounding neighborhood. At the meeting, residents will hear a presentation on what the planning team has learned to date, and will have a chance to offer comments.
