Talkin’ trash

Plymouth may soon change the way it handles its trash, and the town manager’s Solid Waste Advisory Group is hosting an educational forum on Monday to give residents a chance to comment on the options that are being considered. Panelists will include Plymouth DPW director Jonathan Beder; assistant DPW director Dennis Westgate; finance director Lynne Barrett; Janine Delaney from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection; Mike Camara of ABC Disposal Service Inc. in New Bedford; Rosemary Nolan, coordinator for the Tri Town Alliance (a waste program shared by Quincy, Braintree, and Weymouth); and Pembroke Town Administrator Edwin J. Thorne, who lives in Plymouth. The meeting is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. in the Mayflower Room at Plymouth Town Hall.
