Latex gloves, wallets lead to arrest in car break-ins

Norwood police said they apprehended a man wanted in connection with a number of car break-ins near Coach Lane. Police said Andrew Gerard Dejoie, 27, of Walpole, was charged with three counts of breaking and entering into a motor vehicle in the nighttime with the intent to commit a felony, after police reported finding latex cleaning gloves in the front seat of his car, two power tool cases in the back seat, and several shopping bags on the floor. Further investigation by the officer who spotted Dejoie in the neighborhood revealed wallets and GPS devices that may have been taken from the cars in the area, police said.
