Sixth-graders fight back at bullying

An antibullying campaign started by a group of sixth-grade students at the Howard School in West Bridgewater is now a schoolwide program. The “Don’t Be Mean — Wear Green” campaign asks students to sign a pledge against bullying. Students also designed antibullying posters. Plans include days set aside to discuss bullying with the slogans “Use your head — Wear red’’ and “Black out bullying.’’ For more information, contact the school administration at 508-894-1230.
