A Randolph man and his son were surprised on the evening of Dec. 8 when they returned to their Sunnyworth Lane home and found a burglar inside. According to police, Minh Truong and his son heard what sounded like a person on the second floor of their home. Truong went upstairs to investigate while his 9-year-old son called 911. Truong said that when he saw a man in his son’s bedroom, he closed the door and held it shut, while waiting for the police. Police said the burglar stole computer equipment and some jewelry before jumping out of a second story window and running off before officers arrived.
