New zoning board member

Mike Ford was unanimously approved as an alternate member of the Zoning Board of Appeals by town councilors on Dec. 18. A key account executive for Braintree Electric Light Department, Ford also has worked for the Planning Board for five years and been a member of such organizations as the Braintree Business Council Executive Committee, and the South Shore Economic Development Committee. At the Planning Board level, Ford “had a lot of experience with the zoning bylaws that pertain to some of the work he’d be doing on ZBA,” said Council President Chuck Kokoros. The ZBA has three permanent members and two alternates.
