Attempted break-in

Police are searching for a suspect in an attempted breaking and entering reported at a residence on Andrew Ford Way Jan. 2 at about 2 p.m. According to Abington police, the suspect is believed to be a male in his 20s and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and dark pants. Police reports say the suspect attempted to kick in the rear door and left the property when the burglar alarm went off. The suspect’s car, possibly a 2003 or 2004 black Chevy Malibu, was recorded coming and going to the house by a neighbor’s security camera. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Officer Mark Kilgour at 781-878-3232, ext. 5287, or the anonymous tip line at 781-878-0100.
