The deadline for the Freetown-Lakeville Early Childhood Center program is Jan. 25. The program for 3- and 4-year-old children has been expanded in recent years from two classrooms to four, and no longer relies on a lottery for entry, said Jennifer Seaberg, assistant to the director of special education. The program runs four days a week and is integrated with special-needs students. Seaberg said the program features supervised, age-appropriate activities, and some children start friendships that last through their public school years. Registration forms are available at www.freelake.org and at Assawompset Elementary School and Freetown Elementary School. For information, call Seaberg at 508-923-2000, ext. 1712.
