Former Wareham feed building may go

Wareham Feed Co. has closed its doors for good after more than 50 years in business. The agricultural and gardening company had sold lawn, farm, pet, and bird supplies. On Jan. 23, the Historical Commission will hold a hearing on a demolition request for the Wareham Feed building at 337-327R Main St., near the train tracks. Commission Chairwoman Robin Ragle-Davis said town surveys show that the building dates back to 1770. The hearing will start at 5:30 p.m. in Room B-1 at Town Hall.
