Foundation helps public schools


The Rockland Education Foundation has awarded 47 grants totaling $25,853 to teachers, counselors, and administrators in the public school system. The grants, funded with money raised through the group’s annual June golf tournament and other activities, are designed to support innovative and diverse educational efforts. Projects for this school year include play therapy, social thinking, a poet in residence, and building better readers. For more information, visit
