Service dog grant available

The Cohasset Working Dog Foundation is looking for someone who needs help getting a service dog trained to help handicapped individuals. The group originally was formed to raise money for the Cohasset Police Department’s K9 unit and is expanding its focus, according to spokeswoman Trish Morse. Cohasset residents have until Feb. 15 to submit applications for a service dog grant, Morse said. The grant could be used to help buy a dog that already has been trained, or the foundation could help find an appropriate animal and training facility, she said. For more information, contact Morse at 781-383-1622 or at
