Towns hatching cable-access plans

Residents are discussing plans for a new cable access studio. The current studio, which is used by Halifax and Plympton, operates under a contract between Plympton and Comcast that ends in December. The two towns’ committees on cable access have held joint meetings to decide the next steps; another meeting will be held on Feb. 25. The committees are looking at developing a nonprofit to keep a cable access studio in operation.
