High school seniors to start new graduation tradition

Plymouth North High School seniors have successfully petitioned the administration to move graduation for the class of 2013 from Memorial Hall downtown, where the ceremonies have been held for the last several years, to the football field at their new high school. If it rains, the ceremony will be held in the school’s spacious new gym. The School Committee recently approved the request. “There’s so much excitement and camaraderie among the whole student body this year, with the new school,” said committee member Margie Burgess. “The seniors want something special for their class.” This year’s graduation is set for June 8.
