Milton selectmen seek a fourth finalist for town administrator

Milton selectmen are asking a selection committee to provide one more candidate for town administrator, after one of the four finalists dropped out of the running. Richard J. LaFond, town administrator for Carver, was another finalist until he ended his candidacy last week. The three other candidates are the interim town administrator, Annemarie Fagan; Grady E. Miller, former town manager of Narragansett, R.I.; and Kevin O’Donnell, town manager of Great Barrington. The selection committee interviewed 12 candidates out of 40 applicants for the position since July, when the contract of the former town administrator, Kevin Mearn, was not renewed. The finalists are to be interviewed by selectmen at an open meeting on Feb. 26.
