The Mattapoisett Land Trust is offering its fourth annual $1,000 Blanche B. Perry Scholarship Award to a Mattapoisett resident graduating from secondary school by June and pursuing an education in the sciences, environmental studies, or a related field. The scholarship is made available through the Edith Glick Shoolman Fund, a bequest left to help local children. Application forms are available at the land trust website, www.mattlandtrust.org/education,  and at guidance offices at Old Rochester Regional High School in Mattapoisett, Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical School in Rochester, Tabor Academy in Marion, and Bishop Stang High School in Dartmouth. The deadline for submitting applications is April 23, and the recipient will be chosen by May 16.
