Mini-Masters golf tourney to help public library

The Friends of the Bridgewater Public Library will offer its 3d annual Mini-Masters Miniature Golf Tournament, for competitors over 21 years of age, from 7 to 10 p.m. March 9. For $15 per person in advance or $20 at the door, participants can enjoy a round of golf on the 18-hole course set up inside the library, followed by a wine- and beer- tasting event. Advance tickets may be purchased at the library. On March 10, the Friends open up the mini-golf course to families, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., for $5 per golfer. Children under 3 years old are allowed in free of charge. “This has been a fantastic fund-raiser for the library,” said library director Sean Daley. “It provides a few thousand dollars every year, which we use to augment our budget and expand children’s programming.”
