Town Council will hold a hearing Monday on a proposed moratorium on medical marijuana treatment centers in Weymouth. The proposal would prohibit treatment centers through May 1, 2014, or until the town adopts zoning rules on use of medical marijuana. Town Councilors Patrick O’Connor and Michael Smart submitted a petition signed by 15 residents — including Mayor Susan Kay. The hearing is scheduled for 7:37 p.m. in the Town Council chambers of Weymouth Town Hall, 75 Middle St.
