The Easton Lions Auction, postponed from last month, has been rescheduled for Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m., in Oliver Ames High School. Residents can view the event on Easton Community Access Television, which is Channel 9 on Comcast and Channel 22 on Verizon. The action will also be streamed live on the Internet at www.EastonLionsAuction.com.  Those looking to put in an advance bid may do so from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the high school cafeteria. Advance bids will also be taken by phone at 508-230-7071, and via e-mail to Auction@EastonLions.com. Include item, bid, full name, and phone number. All pre-bidding will close at 4 p.m. Saturday. Winning bids will be confirmed by phone Sunday during the auction, and all items must be paid for in full and picked up by 9  that night. Proceeds from the auction, the Lions' biggest fund-raiser of the year, go toward eye research as well as local charities and youth and community groups.
