Players of the Week, Top 10 boys’ and girls’ hockey teams

High 5

Mike Carbone , Marshfield: The Rams’ captain made his presence felt with three assists in a 7-3 win over Milton, but his marquee moment of the Division 1 tournament came in the quarterfinals against Xaverian Monday: He scored the winning goal with less than a minute left in overtime to land his team in the South Sectional semis.

Sam D’Antuono , Hingham: His team’s leading scorer, the junior forward netted three goals in wins over Brockton (6-0) and Norwood (5-4) as the Harbormen earned a spot in the Division 1 South semifinals. He also scored twice in the team’s Super 8 play-in game, 4-3 overtime loss to Central Catholic, 4-3.

Kelly Healey , Westwood: The No. 11 seed in the Division 2 tourney clinched a bid in the semifinals thanks in part to the junior forward’s two goals and two assists in three wins, including a quarterfinal victory over third-seeded Wellesley Monday. Her goal against first-round foe Sandwich was the winner.
