Marshfield Cultural Council seeks members


The Marshfield Cultural Council, which awards grants to local projects in the arts, humanities, and sciences, is looking for a few volunteers to be part of the council, chairwoman Rachael Castiglione said. The council requires five people for a quorum at meetings, and it has seven members now, but she said members would like to add to their ranks to increase feedback from the community. With funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, local councils make grants to schools, individuals, and nonprofit groups for projects that connect the public with cultural experiences.
