Town Meeting postponed

Annual Town Meeting, originally scheduled for April 1, has been postponed to June 10 at 7 p.m. at the high school. Because the local aid amounts from the state aren’t expected to be final in time for the April date, the Board of Selectmen voted last week to postpone the meeting more than two months. One issue that cannot wait for June is the town’s trash collection bill, and a special meeting will likely be called by the end of April to discuss that issue, pending the recommendation of the Finance Committee.
