The town will spend $250,000 from its free cash fund to fix damage on the Powder Point Bridge caused by February’s blizzard. The funds, approved by Special Town Meeting this month, are in addition to the $2.4 million for repairs to the bridge approved at last year’s Town Meeting. The funds will be used to mend the road to the bridge, its wooden structure, and part of a dune in time for the summer crowds.
