Town officials are convinced that residents will be better served by cutting hours at Town Hall offices. Selectmen are expected to take up a measure soon to eliminate Friday hours at Town Hall and return to the Monday-through-Thursday schedule that was in place for many years. The measure will have no impact on the budget and would not take effect until the next fiscal year begins in July, he said.
