Health center gets $125,000 grant

Manet Community Health Center has been awarded a $125,000 grant to help bring the center’s five locations up to date with state and federal health reform requirements and expand nursing operations. Manet, which is part of the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, was one of 49 health centers to apply for and receive a grant. Neighborhood Health Plan and Partners HealthCare provided $4.25 million for this first round of grants as part of their new initiative, Partnership for Community Health, which will provide up to $90 million over 15 years to increase access to health care in communities. Manet has four locations in Quincy and one in Hull.
