On Sunday morning, the community will turn out in force for Calle’s Miracle Run, which has been inspired by spunky 5-year-old Caroline Cronk, nicknamed Calle. She has a rare and inoperable brain tumor known as diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. So far, more than 1,100 people have registered to take part in the 5K and 10K fund-raiser at Norwell High School. Registration for the family-friendly event is open at callesmiraclerun.com until midnight tonight. People can also register at Marathon Sports on Friday and Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. On race day, registration will be open at the high school between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m. The Cronk family will kick off the event with children’s races at 9 a.m. There will be a post-race celebration and awards at the Tinker’s Son in Norwell Center.
