Comics writer, illustrator at library


Comic book writer and illustrator Mark Crilley will be at the Walpole Public Library on April 17 at 11 a.m. Crilley, whose work includes “Akiko on the Planet Smoo” and “Miki Falls,” will demonstrate how he draws his stories, read from them, answer questions, and give advice to budding comic artists. The library is soliciting artwork from students to display for the event, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Walpole Public Library. More information about Crilley is available at
