An April 24 presentation will give residents their first chance in 40 years to help map the town’s future through a comprehensive master plan. Registration begins at 6 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. forum at the H.H. Richardson School Cafeteria, 101 Lothrop St. Consultants from the Horsley Witten Group, along with several town agencies, will lead the session that is intended to guide Easton to a sustainable future. Officials said they are looking for appropriate growth, protection of natural and cultural resources, the development of community character, and gaining a sense of place within the context of property rights and sound fiscal management. RSVPs are not required, but are requested by calling the Planning and Community Development Department at 508-230-0630, or by sending an e-mail to palmeida@easton.ma.us.
