Hope, Faith, and a Cure event

Tickets are on sale for the Hope for Caroline Foundation’s Hope, Faith, and a Cure event. The auction, which takes place on June 7 at Granite Links in Quincy, will support a nonprofit foundation created by Kevin and Rachael Cronk after their 5-year-old daughter Caroline “Calle” Cronk was diagnosed in 2012 with an inoperable brain tumor. Funds support research for a cure for DIPG, which currently receives no federal funding. Tickets are on sale at $52 Sunday and will rise to $62 on Monday. Auction items include a guided tour on an oyster skiff at Island Creek Oysters in Duxbury and four tickets to a Taylor Swift concert. Organizers of Calle’s Miracle Run, which attracted more than 2,000 participants on April 7, announced last week that the event had raised $61,761.28, which will go directly to the Hope for Caroline Foundation.
