Wicked Good Cupcakes opens second shop in Boston

A local business, Wicked Good Cupcakes, has expanded to Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston. The new location — in the Quincy Market Building near Cheers Faneuil Hall — opened May 1 and features the “Wicked Good to Go” line of cupcakes in jars. A red velvet version brought the bakery national attention when a Transportation Security Administration agent refused to let a customer bring one on board in 2011 because of fear it might contain explosives. The new shop also features a bank of computers to place orders to ship the jarred cupcakes, which are designed for easy traveling.
