Other than trying to remember to say “of Abington” instead of “of Carver” when identifying himself, Town Manager Richard LaFond said his adjustment to being back in town is going well. “So far, so good,” he said toward the end of his first week. LaFond returned to Abington after 17 years as town administrator in Carver. He served as executive secretary for Abington for two years before that.
