School building committee meeting Wednesday

The Permanent School Building Committee recently announced a series of community meetings to seek public input into a potential building project. The town is in the midst of a study into possible options for addressing school building needs, a required first step in seeking partial reimbursement from the Massachusetts School Building Authority. The community meetings will be held this Wednesday and on Aug. 7 and Sept. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the junior-senior high school. This Wednesday’s meeting will be preceded by a tour of the junior-senior high school building at 6 p.m. For more information, go to the district’s website,, and follow links to the Permanent School Building Committee.
