Library restoration

The front entrance of the Duxbury Free Library is undergoing a facelift over the next two weeks. The library will remain open during the restoration, but patrons must enter the building through the lower-level entrance, near the tennis courts. Residents can also return library materials in the book drop by the lower-level back door. The restoration will repair the worn façade and crumbling capstone. The library received approval for the restoration in March 2012.
