Upgrades to security measures include a search with a metal-detecting wand and a pat-down procedure as needed, at adjusted security checkpoint locations, before patrons proceed to the ticket taker.

Patrons may only bring in clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags that do not exceed 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
