Family concert night in Holbrook

Residents are invited to a family concert night at the town gazebo on Sunday, with the country, rock, and oldies band Bak-Ta-Bak performing at 7 p.m. In addition to the music, residents can try Bone Daddy’s Burgers, sold from a mobile food truck. The event is being sponsored by the town’s Cultural Council. Stephanie Trowbridge, the council chairwoman, noted that Holbrook does not currently offer an annual concert series, but if this event attracts a good turnout, her group hopes to offer more concerts at the gazebo starting next year. The group, which annually receives funding from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, is also considering raising funds privately to help pay for such events. The gazebo is in the Castle Canyon playground on South Franklin Street.
